Gulfood is the largest annual food and beverage show in the Middle East, attracting approximately 97,000 visitors and 5,000 exhibitors from around the world. Best market prospects include fresh fruit (apples, pears), beef and poultry meat, cheeses, and dried fruits and nuts (particularly almonds). Other sought-after products include breakfast cereals, confectionery products, edible oils, sweeteners, pulses, planting seeds, frozen vegetables, condiments, sauces, chocolates, cookies, fruit eland vegetable juices, ingredients for food processing, and pet food.
